Fine Foods Catering will be solely owned and operated by Chef Dominic Gardea and will be assisted by Sommelier/Head Bartender Matthew Knowles.
Dominic Gardea, Owner & Head Chef
Chef Dominic Gardea is a professionally trained chef who earned his culinary degree from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy and has apprenticed under multiple prestigious chefs in France. Upon his return to the United States, Chef Dominic worked for a hospitality company as an Executive Chef specializing in menu creation and catering events of all sizes. During his tenure at the hospitality company, Chef Dominic managed a large staff of 60 servers, bartenders, and cooks. He was also responsible for staffing, scheduling, ordering and inventory of his kitchen. Chef Dominic’s professional leadership ability combined with his organizational skills and culinary talent have made him a favorite to work for in the hospitality industry. Chef Dominic has also earned an extensive following of loyal clients who have used his catering services for many years due to his unique ability to craft exquisite menus and deliver consistent service for every event.
Matthew Knowles, Sommelier/Head Bartender
Matthew Knowles worked under the leadership of Chef Dominic Gardea for the past seven years. Matthew started out as a Waiter and eventually transitioned to bartending. He learned under another Head Bartender how to craft quality drinks for every type of palate. Dominic’s speed at the bar while being able to serve well-crafted cocktails make him a fan favorite for business events and galas. Matthew also earned his Sommelier certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2017. With his certification, Matthew is skilled at choosing wine selections for all events and palates.
