We recognize that privacy is an important issue, so we design and operate our services with the protection of your privacy in mind. This Privacy Policy outlines the policies and procedures we utilize to safeguard your personal information.

DATA COLLECTION

Some of our services and/or information requests require you to register for an account and/or provide personal information. So that we may provide you with services or fulfill the information you requested, we may request that you provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). PlanBuildr uses the collected data for various purposes. These purposes include, but are not limited to:

STORAGE OF DATA

Our payment solution platform is hosted and managed by Recurly. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Recurly’s data storage, databases and the general Recurly application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

ANALYTICS

We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use (as amended for government websites) and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies on your browser.

COOKIES

Upon your first visit to our site, a cookie may be sent to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. A “cookie” is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website. We sometimes use cookies to improve the quality of our service and to better understand how people interact with us. PAYMENT

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Recurly stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

For your safety and protection, your credit card information is not stored on our servers. Our payment gateway provider, Recurly keeps this information encrypted and secure on your behalf. Please review Recurly’s Privacy Policy here.

INFORMATION SHARING

We do not rent or sell your personally identifying information to other companies or individuals, unless we have your consent. We may share such information in any of the following limited circumstances:

PlanBuildr will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

In the event of a transfer of ownership of our firm, such as acquisition by or merger with another company, we will provide notice before any personally identifying information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We may share aggregated information with others.

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

EMAIL USAGE

The email address you provide for order processing or for information requests, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to periodic company news, updates, and/or related product or service information, etc.

If you decide to opt-in to our mailing list, you will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, promotions, etc. However, you may opt-out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of your emails.

CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.
