Recording Studio Operations Plan
The following will be the operations plan for Benji’s Beats Recording Studio.
- Benjamin will be the sole owner and operator in charge of the recording studio. He will be in charge of client intake and customer service, pricing of all the services, equipment maintenance, and networking. Benjamin will also manage all social media accounts for the business.
- Benjamin will employ two to three sound engineers to apprentice under him and assist him with the sound production of each client.
- Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will be employed to greet customers and ensure they have everything they need during the time at the studio. He or she will also manage client files and various administrative tasks.
- Benjamin will also employ an Accountant to manage the bookkeeping, payroll, taxes, compliance, permits, accounts receivable and payable, cash flow and budgeting. When the recording studio becomes profitable, the Accountant will be promoted to Chief Financial Officer.
Benji’s Beats Recording Studio will have the following milestones completed in the next six months.
7/1/202X – Finalize contract to lease recording studio space.
7/15/202X – Begin build-out and design of 5,000 sf of recording studio with three sound rooms.
8/1/202X – Begin networking and advertising through social media and SEO tactics.
8/15/202X – Hire 2-3 sound engineers to begin training/developing them.
8/30/202X – Begin scouting out music venues and networking.
9/1/202X – Final walk through of completed recording studio.
9/5/202X – Begin setting up the recording studio with equipment, etc.
8101/202X – Grand Opening of Benji’s Beats Recording Studio.
