Key Revenue & Costs

The revenue drivers for Brenda’s Nail Salon will be the nail services offered. The revenue will come from the manicures, pedicures, gel overlays and extensions, acrylic nails and extensions, and dip powder nails.

The cost drivers will be the cost of all nail products. The expenses are nail polish, gel nail polish, acrylic, dip powder, seating and tables, towels, nail equipment (clippers, filing tools, etc.), and spa pedicure materials such as foot scrubs. The net cost will be 30% from what they will price each spa service. Other cost drivers are overhead expenses such as rent, utilities, and payroll costs.

 

Funding Requirements and Use of Funds

Brenda’s Nail Salon is seeking $75,000 in debt financing to open its boutique salon location in St. John’s Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida. The funding will be dedicated for leasehold improvements, design, working capital, and opening inventory. The breakout of the funding is below:

  • Salon design/build: $25,000
  • Opening inventory: $25,000
  • Working capital: $25,000
